The driving range and the chipping/putting area are open to the ECA Community, golf members and the public. The driving range utilizes artificially turfed mats and an excellent grass area when conditions allow. A cleaner and more level landing area, along with vastly improved drainage, has dramatically helped the day-to-day driving range operations. Sustained heavy rain can sometimes limit the use of the range. Please call ahead to be sure of the current conditions. The golf staff can re-grip your clubs 1 at a time or the entire set. We have more than 100 grips to choose from.
The range ball dispenser contains 12,000 balls and is operated in two ways.
- Annual range members and ECA Universal Amenity Fee Users simply use their ID cards at the ball dispenser to access range balls. ID cards are issued by the Recreation Dept at South Cove and activated by the golf shop.
- Also, other driving range users can acquire a 6-digit code from the golf shop. That code can be entered into the keypad at the ball dispenser for access to range balls.
Please hit shots from the designated area of the day and be sure to swing clubs only at the tee area. All children should be watched closely by adults.
We really appreciate every effort to wear appropriate golf clothing at the driving range and practice green when you are practicing. When chipping onto the practice green, be sure other golfers are not in your line of flight.
Thanks for your assistance.
